Fundraiser for Black Minds Matter UK

We’re very happy to announce we are cautiously venturing back into the world of live events on Thursday 29th October @ Bar Dona!

Strict Covid-19 safety regulations will apply. [Details below]

Headlined by Mina West & Nate The Lyricist with Open Mic!

October is Black History month and World Mental Health Day falls on the 10th so we’re returning to our fundraising roots and donating 50% of profits from this event to Black Minds Matter UK.

BMMUK’s mission is to connect Black individuals and families with free mental health services — by professional Black therapists, specifically for Black trauma. To make this happen, they want to make mental health topics more relevant and accessible for all Black people in the U.K., removing the stigma and remodelling the services to be relevant for the Black community.

Read more here and if you can’t make the event but would still like to donate you can do so here.

For the safety of our attendees we will be following strict Government Guidelines in regards to Covid 19. Please see details below:

1. Attendees must wear a face mask / covering at all times except when seated.

2. No groups larger than 6.

3. Temperature check & Anti Bac upon entry.

Ticket prices are slightly higher than usual due to reduced capacity and seating.

Refund Policy – If for any reason the event is cancelled due to Governement guidelines changing, all tickets will be refunded in full.

At a young age Mina witnessed certain difficulties and challenges within the home and life around her, which led her to write poetry where she found solitude and peace.
