Who's Performing?
ANISA BUTT
Anisa is a British born Actor, of South Asian Heritage currently working on a new play which tours in March, called “Vitamin D.”
She also recently headlined “Vocals and Verses” valentines show on 19th Feb.
Anisa is very passionate about mental health, music and performing and I geek out on diving deep into human behaviour and therefore I am always wanting to ask questions and understand the why behind our actions and also explore how our personal trauma affects us.
Poetry allows Anisa to be vulnerable and use her personal experiences to help others, hoping they also resonate with it, appreciating that emotions are so universal in nature.
Writing poetry has also been her means of connecting to the world and she believes sharing in any capacity, takes courage, because what we are saying is, “hey this is my pain, I want to share it with you, and I hope it makes you feel less alone”.
Anisa’s debut poetry book “Hope” is currently available worldwide on Amazon and she also have a podcast @unplugwithani on IG available on Spotify, Itunes & Anchor.

MELODI MARSH
Melodi is a spoken word artist and model from Camden Town.
She touches on themes of health, healing and love whilst exploring her own journey through life.
Melodi sees poetry as a form of therapy and hopes that sharing her words may be able to help others as they have her.
Her raw vulnerability on stage and off has led her to performing at Fearne Cottons Happy Place Festival amongst a multitude of events across the UK.

2. One poem / song and a maximum of FOUR minutes please so as many people as possible have the chance to share
3. Backing tracks welcome. Please bring on your phone with the adapter or a USB
4. There is a DI box at the venue so guitars, keyboards etc welcome too
